Love/Hate Relationship... with Spam Musubi

Before going to WOD, I threw up. Yup. I said it. I vomitted. But really, who vomits BEFORE a crossfit work out? It would only be right to throw up during or right after, lol.

Monday night, I went to have dinner with my gal pals at Kula Revolving Sushi... I ended up eating 9 plates worth of sushi. That is WELL over my monthly rice intake. I don't know why I push it.

For lunch yesterday, I met up with Nancy at L&L and decided to get 4 spam musubis. I must say, it did not settle well with me. I got home late yesterday from work, took my usual hour nap, and right before I left, I upchucked. I think it's just the rice that's weighing me down :(

Coach D was telling me that he was doing an intro sesh earlier in the day and his client ended up throwing up. Tried covering the mouth but it spewed between the fingers apparently.

There goes my gag reflex....

Warm up: 1k jog and stretching

A: Back Squat
3 reps at 90%
every minute on the minute for 7 minutes

B: 3 rounds for time
7 front squats 185/125
21 kb swings 53/35
400m run

Results A: I thought it was 3 reps at 90% of my 1 rm, but I was told to do 3 reps at 90% of my 3 rep max, so I did 155 lbs. On average, I completed my 3 reps within 15-20 seconds

Results B: I'm still learning how to clean properly, so I ended up going down to 65# for my front squats. I used 26 lb kettle bell. All the swinging, dipping, moving made me feel nauseated. I didn't throw up though! Close, but not close enough. Completed th is in 13:26. I remember I did a similar work out to this and I think my time is getting better :)

On a brighter note, Coach D told me that I no longer need to come to the beginner class because I got the moves down, just needs refining. This totally made my day :)

I don't know what's going on with me. I still don't have my voice back from Six Flags, I'm vomiting, and last night I couldn't sleep to save my life. I knocked out around 3 am. So... I am utterly fucked today.

...so about that comfort zone

So, for the past year and a half, I have made it a point to do things to get out of my comfort zone. Even if it's as minuscule as going to farmers market. 
BTW, I went to a farmers market for the first time on Saturday! The BFF has been wanting to go and we finally had the chance to. So, you know how they sell organic and fresh produce? Yeah... We didn't get any of that. However, we did taste test some fruits and it was friggin bombskies! 

Nutella filled Hawaiian donut. What's up. 

BFF got her flowers and I got my macaroons from Munch Bakery. Turns out her dad and my dad golf together. 
Random question: how far would you drive to buy a couple pairs of pants?
To answer that for myself... 80 miles round trip... And the pants weren't even for me, lol. 
Shoutout to the BFF for sticking it out with me! 

After four, and I repeat, FOUR hours of searching for pants, the BFF and I met up with Big Bruddah at Gen KBBQ! Best decision of my life!
