Warm up: 1k jog and stretch ... considering TOM is in town, I felt better and actually kept up more during the run. And we all know I hate running.

Advanced A: Romanian Deadlift  5 x 3

Beginners A: Deadlift 5 x 3

Both Advanced and Beginners B:
5 rounds for time
50 foot overhead lunge 45/35
50 double unders

I did the beginner's workout:

Results A: 115-125-135-155-185
Okay so, since I've been feeling blah and lazy, no lie I've been lagging... I was super lazy to switch weights yesterday. Hence the jump from 155-185. I didn't feel like doing more math and crap, even though I was next to the stack of weights. I ended up pulling another 2 x 25 lb and saw that I had 2 x 15 lb on the floor. And there's that 30 lbs. I bet if I wasn't on my rag, my 3 rep max would have been higher. But the last time I did deadlifts, I hurt my back and was sore for a week, so I'm glad I didn't yesterday. Good thing I didn't need to push myself too far, especially since my laziness took care of that for me. Ironic, huh?

Results B: 10:20 using 25 lb and 100 single unders per round
I think I should have used the 35 lbs, because the 25 felt easy above me. Noted for next time. I was still sore from the double unders the other day that the single unders killed me last night. I did practice my double unders after the WOD anyway. Needless to say, I couldn't move.

I was embarrassed because after writing my results/time on the board, I seriously just scooted my ass over and sat there. In pain. Although I felt like I could have done more had I not been on my period, I think I got a good work out in :)

Just gotta push through today. Hopefully. I couldn't sleep at all last night. I fell asleep for about an hour and woke up thinking a spider crawled on me. Nope. Just a strand of hair. Couldn't sleep until a little after 3 am. UGH.

Must. Keep. Going.

...so about that comfort zone

So, for the past year and a half, I have made it a point to do things to get out of my comfort zone. Even if it's as minuscule as going to farmers market. 
BTW, I went to a farmers market for the first time on Saturday! The BFF has been wanting to go and we finally had the chance to. So, you know how they sell organic and fresh produce? Yeah... We didn't get any of that. However, we did taste test some fruits and it was friggin bombskies! 

Nutella filled Hawaiian donut. What's up. 

BFF got her flowers and I got my macaroons from Munch Bakery. Turns out her dad and my dad golf together. 
Random question: how far would you drive to buy a couple pairs of pants?
To answer that for myself... 80 miles round trip... And the pants weren't even for me, lol. 
Shoutout to the BFF for sticking it out with me! 

After four, and I repeat, FOUR hours of searching for pants, the BFF and I met up with Big Bruddah at Gen KBBQ! Best decision of my life!

Skee TV: Fort Minor

So let me tell you. I've never won anything... EVER. During my Monday mini break, I was on instagram and saw that Skee TV was having a giveaway. Pretty much just comment on that picture of Mike Shinoda/Fort Minor and that's my entry. 
Skee TV added me on instagram, and commented on one of my pictures (Rawle D. Lewis) saying I was chosen! I emailed them and boom. I got my tickets. 
I followed Fort Minor since Mike Shinoda created it and man, it was AWESOME. And I can knock it off my bucket list - going to a rap/hip hop show. Also got a glimpse of Mr. Hahn!
I don't care what you say. I'm happy AF. 



Since I won, the Skee TV rep hooked it up with some merchandise. Mike Shinoda signed the snapback. I fangirled so hard.

After the show, we managed to head to Guisados and got some mafuggin tacos.
