Warm up: 200 rope turns and stretching ... My calves were super sore from practicing the double unders the night before.
For both Beginners and Advanced A:
Power clean & push jerk 7 x 1
For both Beginners and Advanced B:
Death by Clean & Jerk 135/95
1 clean & jerk 1st minute
2 clean & jerks 2nd minute
3 clean & jerks 3rd minute
Go until you cannot complete reps in that minute
Beginners C: 3 x 25 abmat situps
Advanced C: 3 x 20 GHD situps
I attended the beginners class so...
Results A: I did one more than I needed to... lol.
55-65-75-85-90-95-100-105... I was really focusing on my cleans. I need to keep it closer to my body but I think I'm just scared of hitting the ta-tas.
Results B: I got up to 10 rounds in at 65#
Again, I really wanted to perform well and not lose technique during the work out. I think I was the only one who went to 10 rounds. I really did give it my all. I kind of want to try going up to 11. Maybe next time ;)
I'm pretty sore on my abs and my shoulders and arms. After the WOD last night, I wanted to practice kipping pull ups but I just couldn't. I was super dead and just really couldn't. I did try though. LOL.
I woke up this morning thinking "aw shit."
Gotta work the soreness out later today :)
