The Electric Run - San Diego

This weekend, Nancy, Ana and I drove down to San Diego for The Electric Run! We left at 7 am on Saturday morning, and chilled at the hotel. My cousin, Renz (tall dude in Flash below) picked up our packets so we attended my cousin's son's 1st birthday party! I was reluctant to go, especially since I only met these cousins at my reunion a couple years ago. It ended up being really fun. Filipinos = Karaoke. Yeah, I learned that I am a horrible singer.

It was a pretty good weekend. Yesterday, Nancy, Ana and I headed out to the Carlsbad Premium Outlets where we did a little bit of shopping. I spent more on getting my family gifts than myself, lol. I'm really not trying to buy clothes or whatever to have an incentive to lose a few more pounds. I ended up getting black heels by Fergie, a pair of vans for $10 (good looking out, Nancy), and WOD pants from Gap.

Overall, it was a good weekend. I got to spend it with good friends and new family. Can't wait for my next adventure!

BTW, I went to a farmers market for the first time on Saturday! The BFF has been wanting to go and we finally had the chance to. So, you know how they sell organic and fresh produce? Yeah... We didn't get any of that. However, we did taste test some fruits and it was friggin bombskies!

Nutella filled Hawaiian donut. What's up.

BFF got her flowers and I got my macaroons from Munch Bakery. Turns out her dad and my dad golf together.
Random question: how far would you drive to buy a couple pairs of pants?
To answer that for myself... 80 miles round trip... And the pants weren't even for me, lol.
Shoutout to the BFF for sticking it out with me!

After four, and I repeat, FOUR hours of searching for pants, the BFF and I met up with Big Bruddah at Gen KBBQ! Best decision of my life!
Another comfort-zone-breaker... I …
