Warm up: 200 rope turns and usual warm up

A: 15 minutes to find 1 RM: Power Snatch

B: AMRAP 12
3 Power Snatches
6 Bar Facing Burpees
9 Toes to Bar

I am so glad we didn't have to run yesterday. I definitely wasn't in the mood to run, lol. So my friend, Michael, and I showed up, feeling lazy as hell. I walked up to his car and low and behold... we are MATCHING. We both UNINTENTALLY wore our LMFAO shirts from the show in early June. Horrible.

Results A: 45 lbs ... Coach D was really helping us on technique. Needless the say, the inevitable happened. Whilst keeping the bar close to my body, yes, yes, I hit le boob. Yesterday was a true awakening as to how far these bad boys stick out. Maybe I need to start doubling up on sports bras again.

Results B: I stayed at 45 lbs for the snatches and did toes to gut, or whatever they call it. I don't know what the correct terminology is for that one, lol. Anyways, it was one hell of a work out. I managed to get 5 rounds in + the 3 snatches + 4 burpees. We finished early so we ended up doing some stretching after we cleaned up (I used so much chalk and it was all over me. I felt like a badass, yup). Coach D told us that we were going to sleep really well.

And hell, I did sleep well. I went to bed early and woke up late for work. Thank God for my dad being home because for some reason, I didn't hear any of my six alarms. That's right, SIX. Apparently, I'm dead or in one hell of a comatose when I sleep.

I'm super sore right now on my traps and lats. Am I even supposed to be sore there? lol.

I'm really struggling with Paleo. However, I did consume a lot of protein yesterday, seeing as how my dad BBQed tri-tip and chicken. YUM! I hope you all have an awesome Friday!
