Getting a little Randy.

I hope you all had a good weekend :) I spent Saturday with Dan and we went to his cousin's wedding. It was very nice and intimate. Pictures below.

So last week, I planned on WODing Monday-Thursday so I can have Friday to rest. Didn't happen. I ended up taking Thursday as my rest day and WOD with my friend Cecilia (who has been at my gym for 3 weeks, yay!).

Warm up: 1k run and the usual warm up

95# was my 1 rep max, and I was really struggling in this part. I'm curious what my new 1 rep max will be!

Yes! I did the met-con at the prescribed weight! Although, I was the last one to finish. I need to remember that I need to keep my form and that it isn't a race because I end up feeling pretty shitty. I need to work on my cardio for sure.

After the WOD, I practiced my kipping pull ups but since I was doing a lot of lat work, I was super fatigued. So, I practiced my GHD situps instead.

Cecilia and I ended up going to Souplantation. We crossfit together, and eat & talk crossfit together <3

Come Sunday, I was hungover. My brother and I were bored so he decided to use his handy dandy WOD Genius app to come up with a mock crossfit work out.

I practiced double unders at first, that got me tired. However! I got 4 double unders in a row! I totally started screaming and woo-ing, only to have my mom scold me to shut up. LOL.
 
So I guess I really just did the met-con:
3 rounds for time
  • 10 medicine ball cleans (10#)
  • 20 wall ball shots
  • 90 single unders 
My time was 8:30, and I was pretty upset about it. I threw a fit.
 
I'm grateful my brother was there though, really helped me. Perhaps if I wasn't hungover, my time would have been better?
 
Regardless, I need to work on cardio. Badly.
