Warm up: 1k and stretch

A: Bench Press 5-4-3-2-1 45/75/85/95/105

B: "Lynne"
5 rounds for max reps:
bodyweight bench press
pull ups

Results A: 45-75-85-95-105
I finally got to WOD with one of my friends and it was pretty fun. He kept pushing me and I finally maxed out at 105 lbs :) He was doing work too and I was very proud of him.

Results B:  25/15, 22/9, 16/7, 18/7, 17/6

I had to use a lighter weight at 45 lbs because we paired up. Even though I didn't go heavier, I was able to get in more reps. I think I did negative pull ups the whole time. PROUD! The girl I paired up with was such a good sport and so supportive. I'm glad we got to motivate each other to push for those extra 2-3 reps.

Warm up: 1k jog and stretch

A: Behind the neck split jerk 7x1 55*2,65*x,75*2, 95
B: AMRAP 10
5 ground to overhead
10 ring push ups

At the end of AMRAP, 400m sprint all out effort

Results A: 55x2, 65x2, 75x2, 95
I was really trying to keep my balance while I did the split.

Results B: I did ground to push jerk at 65 lbs. I was able to complete 7 rounds. Instead of ring push ups, I did 3-4 rounds of regular push ups and the rest were girl push ups.

400m run - 2:26 ... I'm slow, lol.

Warm up: 200 rope turns and stretch

WOD: TABATA THIS!
Tabata row - rest 1 min
Tabata squat - rest 1 min
Tabata pull up - rest 1 min
Tabata push up - rest 1 min
Tabata sit up - rest 1 min

Tabata is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals

I must say... it looked less challenging. Boy did I feel the burn, lol.

Tabata Results:
Row - 42 calories
Air Squats- 114
Pull Ups - 5 negative pull ups, 51 jumping pull ups
Push ups - 48 (scaled down to the knees about half way)
Sit ups - 53

It was a short work out, but I was DEAD.

Monday, September 3, 2012 -- Labor Day
Warm up: 1k jog and stretch

A: Front squat EMOTM for 7, 3 reps @70% 115 lbs

B: AMRAP 10
50 foot burpee broad jump
15 pull ups
Results A: My 70% would have been 98 lbs (or 100 lbs) but the person I paired up with, her max is 115. So to make it complicated, I just did 115 by adding a quick 25 lb weight to each side. Which is pretty high still, lol.

Results B: This was pretty fun, although tiring. I started off strong and eventually died midway, lol. I scaled my pull ups to jumping pull ups. I was able to get in 4 full rounds, complete the 50 foot burpee broad jump and 12 pull ups.

It was pretty full yesterday and I'm glad I got to went even though it was a holiday. I seriously tried to find reasons not to go, but I just can't stay away.
