I'm sorry for the lack of updates. Work is finally picking up and I've been just so busy! I'll add another post of my adventures since the last time I WODed.

This was such a bad day.
Warm up: 200 rope turns, ero warm up
A: Front Squat
1 x 5 @ 60%
1 x 5 @ 70%
4 x 5 @ 75%
B: 3 RFT
400m run
10 hand stand push ups (or hand release push ups)
15 hang squat cleans 135/95 (or 10 hang cleans)
Results A: I was working off at 205# 1 rep max...
125-145-155 x 2 sets. I didn't even get to finish. I was so slow and weak on Monday, it was absolutely ridiculous. I couldn't keep my heels down, my elbows up. Everything I did was just WRONG.
Results B: 17:17 at 75%
Again, I was so weak. I couldn't get my hang squat cleans down and it was really upsetting me. I was fine with the hand release push ups, but GOD. I have never been so disappointed in my life.
I went to the LA Fair on Sunday, and I ate a lot of crap foods. Don't get me wrong, they're delicious... but it was a real slap on the face when I couldn't perform to my highest potential on Monday. On top of that, I went bungee jumping and rode a mechanical bull for the first time. I was already sore from that too. UGH. FAIL FAIL FAIL. Lesson learned. Definitely.

I decided to take the afternoon off from work. It was Dan's first day off in 2 months so I wanted to take some kind of advantage of that. I ended up WODing at noon for the first time.
Warm up: 1k run and ero warm up
Advanced and Beginner A: Push Press 5 x 3
Advanced B:
AMRAP 12
6 power snatches
8 push press
10 sit ups
Beginner B:
AMRAP 10
6 push press
8 pull ups
10 sit ups
I'm no longer doing the Beginner WODs but I like knowing just how different the levels are.
Results A: 55-65-75-95-105-115 PR :)
Results B: 7 rounds + 6 power snatches at 65 lbs. Rx was 75# but I didn't know, I should have asked lol.
I felt like I did really well, except the fact that I didn't do the prescribed weight. In my defense, it wasn't on the WOD board, lolol.

Happy 25th Birthday to me!
Yeah. Seriously. lol. As a challenge, I attended the 5 pm ADVANCED class. Two things: 1. I was scared because it was advanced and 2. I was the ONLY girl. Talk about intimidation.
Warm up: 1k run and ero warm up
A: 15 minutes of gymnastics practice
B: 5 RFT
5 wall climbs
7 toes to bar
9 burpees
Results A: I practiced doing kipping pull ups, but my momentum was off. So I ended up practicing the kipping motion. I also practiced hand stand push ups.
Results B: 12:18, scaled the toes to bar to knees to chest
It was such a hard work out. I didn't realize that it looked fun on the WOD board but doing it was a kick in the ass. It was definitely a great experience WODing with all the experienced guys. It was one hell of a motivation.
I plan on going today and we're doing deadlifts. Must be careful with my back. I think Tuesday/Wednesday's WODs made up for Monday's epic fail. I can't wait for the women's lifting seminar next weekend. I really want to get my cleans down.
