I hope you all had a good week last week! I'm not one to go all out for Valentines' Day, cuz face it... you should show your love every day, not just because it's a Hallmark Holiday. Although their cards are pretty cute, lol.
I received my first Edible Arrangements from a good friend. Needless to say, the chocolate covered strawberries were devoured first.
On the 14th, I went over to Dan's area and we decided to have dinner at our favorite Italian place called Aruffo's in Claremont. His gift to me? Shaving his beard off! :) Look at that handsome face.

5 push press (65% of body weight)

The warm up alone felt like one hell of a work out but it did prep us for the WOD :)
Results A: 65-75-85-95-100
I can really feel my injury/sprain when I did overhead movements. I was kind of disappointed with my weight because my PR before was 145 lb. Gotta keep stretching!
Results B: I got 7 rounds + 5 push presses in at 85 lb and 65 lb. I changed the weight someway through the work out.
Considering I don't practice my double unders as much as I should, I did get 7 double unders in a row which is now a new PR! HAHAH. I don't care, I'm happy about that!
After the WOD, Nancy and I went to Stacked for a healthy post-WOD meal. Check out my whip marks.
Later that night, we decided to get shitfaced and hang with some of the people from our gym and headed out to Hermosa. Yeah... I YOLO'd too hard.
Sunday morning, although we were both hungover, Nancy, her sister Ana, and I went to the beach to get a run in. We ended up at the nail salon and got our nails did.
Nancy was reaching into her truck to grab her flip flops. She amazes me.
And here's my fresh manicure, toes match too. I couldn't decide so Nancy picked it out :)
